Didn’t know that there exists such principle, “Whoever holds the opposition wins the game!”. Opposition is applicable when the end of game is near. Opposition happens when White King faces Black King horizontally, vertically or even diagonally.
Rule 1: When the number of squares between kings is even, whoever moves first wins.
Rule 2: When the number of squares between kings is odd, whoever moves first loses the opposition.
**Goal of Opposition: For the king to reach the opponent’s side and win the game.

I am not that good in chess as others have in mind, but at least i know some moves.
If you want to learn how to play chess, there are online players. You could play with them in your spare time. "Practice makes perfect!"..hehe:)
